How to Launch Intelligent Revolutions Worldwide
Nowadays, we spend a lot of time online, but the internet is full of useless information. How can we make digital books and movies free for everyone while compensating authors for their works?
My solution is to offer people voluntary payment for digital products. This payment has two features listed below.
1) Everyone decides how much to pay for a digital product. We can vote with our wallet for something valuable or refuse to pay for something worthless to us.
2) Everyone decides when to pay. This feature allows the young and poor to enjoy all the knowledge and wisdom of mankind first and pay for it later.
If people are willing to pay for something of value to them, the idea of voluntary payment will probably work, and we will become smarter by spending more time with art and science on the Internet, while authors will earn more from a wider audience. This win-win situation for all could launch intelligent revolutions around the world.
